The San Francisco Bay Area has several different transit agencies. These include AC Transit, S.F. Municipal Railway (MUNI), San Mateo County Transit (SamTrans), Santa Clara
County Transit District (VTA), County Connection, Santa Cruz Metro, and many More. Each of these districts has its own signs, some of them share locations with each other, but they almost never share the
same signs. Exceptions to this are usually in the form of service that is operated as part of a Joint Powers Agreement. The Dumbarton Express and the Hwy. 17 Express are examples of this in the
Bay Area. Because we are expecting to have a fair number of pictures from the Bay Area, we have broken it down into four main areas.
